Delve into Mayan culture on this VIP tour that takes in historic ruins, serves up authentic cuisine and includes a swim in a cenote and scenic canoeing on a full-day adventure. Set off on a 45-minute ferry ride to the mainland, then board a motorcoach to the majestic Temples of Tulum, where a certified guide will accompany you through the temple walls to 'El Castillo,' The Temple of the Descending God, The Temple of the Water and the Temple of the Frescos. Continue on to a Mayan village, where you'll learn how modern Mayan descendants live today. Walk through the Mayan Jungle, then cool off in the refreshing waters of a cenote. Canoes are available for those wanting to paddle through a lagoon channel to admire the exotic vegetation. A fresh tortilla demonstration whets your appetite for a typical Mayan lunch. Return to port at the end of this exciting day.
