Experience tea and fresh scones served in the traditional way at the birthplace of the cream tea, a British institution, on this half-day excursion. Stops along the way include, Marazion for a photo stop of St.Michael's Mount and St. Ives. In the harbour village of Marazion, you'll visit a local hotel for Cornish cream tea. Enjoy the ritual of freshly brewed tea and freshly baked scones served with jam and clotted cream, a specialty of Cornwall since the 14th century. At Marazion, snap a photo of St.Michael's Mount. This dramatic, rocky island once boasted a Benedictine priory that was inspired by the famous Mont St. Michel in Normandy. The Mount is also a private home to the St. Aubyn family for more than three centuries. Afterwards, you'll continue on to St. Ives Bay for a photo opportunity en route back to Falmouth and your ship.
