This exhilarating five-hour day in the great outdoors involves significant walking, so proper hiking footwear is a must. From port, enjoy a scenic 45-minute motorcoach ride to picturesque Paleokastritsa, the starting point of your guided hike. Famous for its six bays surrounded by jagged cliffs, Paleokastritsa, known as the "Capri of Greece," offers breathtaking views and an abundance of flora and fauna. Your hike begins at sea level and climbs to the Plateau of Bellavista, a scenic lookout point. Your efforts are rewarded with views of the bays and the turquoise blue waters of the Ionian Sea set off by lush, emerald vegetation. Continue on to the Rock of Kolovri, which Greek mythology tells is Odysseus's ship turned to stone by Poseidon, the god of the sea. Pause in the petite village of Krini for refreshments, then begin your descent along a cliff-side path to the Bay of Agios Geiorgos, where you can take an exhilarating swim. Afterwards, meet your motorcoach and return to port.
