Corfu is a paradise for camera buffs, culture mavens and sun seekers and this captivating full-day tour takes full advantage of its myriad attractions. Driving past the Old Fortress, you'll arrive at the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi, dating back to the 17th century. The 300-acre Theotoky Estate hosts you to three generations of wine and olive oil-making history. You'll visit the cellars and see the olive press and then enjoy a tasting of wines and organic olive oils accompanied by cheese, fresh bread and olives grown on the estate. At the end of your visit should you wish you will be able to make a purchase. On a guided tour of Corfu Town, you'll stroll down charming streets to the famous Church of St. Spyridon with its distinctive bell tower and then enjoy time on your own.
Special Notes:
The town of Corfu will be explored on foot and involves walking over level terrain. Respectful attire must be worn when visiting the Monastery. Please note that ladies must have their shoulders covered and shorts are not permitted. Photography and filming are not permitted in the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi.Wine is available for purchase.
