Immerse yourself in the history of Corfu with an informative and entertaining half-day tour of this Mediterranean island's most stunning landmarks. Tour the neo-classical Achilleion Palace, which was designed and built for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria, and the Mon Repos Palace Paleopolis Museum, which was built by the last British Governor, Sir Arthur Adams. Formerly used by the Greek Royal Family as a summer palace, today it is a museum boasting sweeping views of the ocean. It's also the birthplace of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Heading back to Corfu Town, stop at Kanoni to view Vlachernae and Mouse Island. Stop for refreshments before enjoying a photo stop at the Old Fortress which dominates the town and the pretty Esplanade Square. View the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, which was home to the British rulers of the island.
