Spend the day getting to know Leonardo da Vinci, one of the world's most famous painters, sculptors and inventors, and the city he called home from 1513 to 1516. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to Navona Square, site of the Trevi Fountain, and on to the Pantheon for an outside visit. After a delicious Italian gelato, you'll walk to "The Leonardo da Vinci Machines Exhibition" housed inside the historic Palazzo della Cancelleria. Here, you'll discover the man's genius and his inventions such as flying machines, an armored tank, a bicycle, a hydraulic saw, and more. The exhibition presents about 50 full-scale fully-operational machines based on da Vinci's drawings. Later, have fun participating in a Family Challenge: the bride construction competition! All kids will have a prize! Then enjoy approximately two hours of free time to shop and explore Rome or purchase lunch.
Special Notes:
The 2025 Catholic Jubilee in Rome will take place from December 24, 2024 to January 6, 2026. During this time, the city is expecting an influx of visitors. Because of this, there may be increased wait times at the four major basilicas and surrounding points of interest, as well as traffic delays throughout the city. Tour timing may be adjusted to accommodate for these instances.Wear comfortable shoes, bring head cover, sunglasses, raingear.

The tour includes approx. 2,8 kms (1.75 miles) walking over even and cobblestone surfaces with some steps. The tour is not suggested for Guests with walking difficulties and/or using a wheelchair.
The drive between Civitavecchia and Rome is approximately 1 1/2 hours, subject to traffic conditions.
The order of the tour may be reversed or altered depending on traffic or local conditions.
