Spend the day getting to know Leonardo da Vinci, one of the world's most famous painters, sculptors and inventors, and the city he called home from 1513 to 1516. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to Navona Square, site of the Trevi Fountain, and on to the Pantheon for an outside visit. After a delicious Italian gelato, you'll walk to "The Leonardo da Vinci Machines Exhibition" housed inside the historic Palazzo della Cancelleria. Here, you'll discover the man's genius and his inventions such as flying machines, an armored tank, a bicycle, a hydraulic saw, and more. The exhibition presents about 50 full-scale fully-operational machines based on da Vinci's drawings. Later, have fun participating in a Family Challenge: the bride construction competition! All kids will have a prize! Then proceed to Campo de' Fiori for approximately two hours of free time to shop and explore Rome or purchase lunch.
