What a great way to get to know the Eternal City. You can set your own itinerary with the hop-on hop-off option, which allows you to disembark at the stop you want and return to any stop to continue your tour. Explore the cobblestone streets of the city's many piazzas or enjoy a visit to one of Rome's iconic landmarks including the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican, Castle Saint Angelo, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. The open top bus provides fantastic views as you enjoy the fun and entertaining audio tour with a choice of nine languages and the tour ticket is valid for the entire day. Simply hop off at any of the designated stops or remain onboard to relax and see it all. At the end of the day, board your deluxe motor coach and return to Civitavecchia.

Special Notes:

The 2025 Catholic Jubilee in Rome will take place from December 24, 2024 to January 6, 2026. During this time, the city is expecting an influx of visitors. Because of this, there may be increased wait times at the four major basilicas and surrounding points of interest, as well as traffic delays throughout the city. Tour timing may be adjusted to accommodate for these instances.

Please be aware that ongoing restoration work is often being carried out at the various venues visited.

This is a contracted hop-on/off service and not booked, nor run exclusively for Princess Cruise guests. There will be other guests on board, and varied language services will be provided. At peak times, waiting time may be necessary at the various stops and delays may occur. Should you wish to visit religious sites, shoulders and knees covered and no high heels are allowed. Bring hat, sunscreen and water. Bring local currency or credit cards to enter attractions and for meal, drinks. The full loop on the Red Line, without getting off the bus, is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. The frequency of the buses in Rome is approximately every 20 minutes. Audio Guides are available in 7 languages (English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin & Portuguese). After the initial 90-minute transfer from Civitavecchia, the guests will be dropped at STOP 4 / Circus Maximum (near the Colosseum), and be issued the tickets for the Hop-on, Hop-off bus.
