Be treated like a VIP with an exclusive, all-access small-group tour of St. Peter's Basilica, Christendom's largest church. After crossing St. Peter's Square to the Basilica, you'll follow your guide through a dedicated entrance and into the world's largest church. Marvel at the treasure trove of historic, religious, and artistic works of art including masterpieces like Michelangelo's famous Pietà and the bronze St. Peter's Baldachin by Bernini. Next, you'll have the opportunity to see something that only a few get to see-the hidden wooden models of St. Peter's Basilica construction project! Later, you'll also have the opportunity to climb up to the dome and gaze out over the amazing views of St. Peter's Square, Rome and the Vatican City. Before leaving Rome, you'll stroll to St. Peter' Square and enjoy time on your own. Finally, reboard your motorcoach and relax on a panoramic drive back to Civitavecchia.

Special Notes:

Guests must be able to walk approximately 3.5 miles over even and cobblestone surfaces with approximately 500 steps (350 of which to climb up to St. Peter's Cupola) and endure extended periods of standing.
