WHAT YOU WILL VISIT
Normandy Victory Museum
Located on an old American airfield, the museum re-creates the D-Day invasion through 17 re-created scenes. Using actual vehicles, mannequins and thousands of authentic World War II artifacts, the experience brings to life the storming of the beaches, the 'Battle of the Hedgerows' fought by U.S. paratroopers and lesser-known operations carried out in June of 1941. The Museum also highlights the role women played during the conflict within various auxiliary corps of the American forces.
Battle of Carentan Sights
Board your motorcoach for a narrated tour of the strategic areas where the Battle of Carentan was fought. This crucial victory allowed the Allies to link the Omaha and Utah Beach landing forces, establish a single front on the Contenin Peninsula and expand their beachhead and supply lines in Normandy.
