Designed for small groups, this half-day excursion offers the opportunity to soak up the therapeutic and relaxing benefits of a hammam bath, a centuries-old ritual believed to purify the soul as well as the body. Located inside the Hassan II Mosque, the hammam experience is enhanced with a tour of this iconic structure. Built at the sea's edge, the mosque is designed with Moorish influences with curved arches inside and out, hand-crafted marble walls and floors, and, at 650 feet, the world's tallest minaret. Upon completion of the tour, you'll be ushered into the changing room then led into the first of three Moorish steam rooms offered at varying temperatures. Feel invigorated as you dip between warm, hot, and very hot baths.
Special Notes:
Free lockers are available to store your clothes and any valuable item. Bring flip-flops or sandals, and a clean change of clothes. Wearing either a swimsuit or underwear is compulsory (swimsuit or bikini). Generally, women wear bikini bottoms or underwear. Whereas men choose bottoms or underwear. You will be provided with a plastic or wood bucket, a towel, (but feel free if you want to bring one from the ship), a Kis (the scrubbing glove), Savon bildi (black soap), Rhassoul (clay soap), Shampoo. Participants must be 12 years old or above. Please note that tank tops or revealing clothing is not allowed in religious places of worship, please dress accordingly. The order of sites visited may vary, according to the original itinerary, due to unforeseen circumstances. Guests are advised not to take photos of military personnel without their consent.
