Depart the quayside and drive to Simons Town, your first stop will be Boulders Beach to visit the African penguin colony.
African Penguins used to be known as jackass penguins because of their distinctive braying and are the only penguins found on the African continent. Here you will have a one hour tour of Boulder's Penguins, viewing nesting grounds and learning about the colony.
After your visit with the Penguins you will take a short drive to Kalk Bay a picturesque harbour town. Similar to Simons Town it has gorgeous historical buildings some dating back to 1870s. Fishing was the mainstay of Kalk Bay and is still a favourite amongst locals to buy your fresh fish when the boats come in. Kalk Bay has an array of boutique shops selling local arts and crafts, situated along the coast it is a must see for any visitor.
After your free time exploring this quaint town you will board your coach and head back to Cape Town harbour to meet your ship.

There are walkways at boulders Beach that are easy to navigate. It is recommended that guests using foldable wheelchairs have a companion to help them.Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes.Details
