Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Encompassing over 2,200 acres of mostly tropical rainforest, the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics Rainforest is truly a sight to see. Behold its beauty from the treetops aboard the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, voted Australia's Best Major Tourist Attraction. After a scenic drive from the pier, you'll disembark in the park and board a six-passenger gondola. Witness the breathtaking beauty of Barron Gorge, and passing Stoney Creek Falls and the spectacular, 800-foot Barron Falls as you glide over the rainforest canopy. Your adventure includes time at two mid-stations where you can step off to explore the rainforest along the paved walkways. Next, you'll have free time in Kuranda Village to browse among the shops and markets for exotically handcrafted goods and Aboriginal artifacts. Once all this sightseeing and shopping has worked up an appetite, you can purchase lunch in one of the village's many cafés.
