The 25-acre wildlife sanctuary located at the foothills of the MacAlister Range is Northern Australia's largest wildlife attraction. A series of pathways and boardwalks through the park provide an eco-friendly way to view the various native animals in their natural habitats. Explore Hartley's Lagoon, home of the Australian saltwater croc on specially designed eco-boats and learn about the ecological significance of Northern Australia's melaleuca wetlands. All around the parklands waterways you will see colorful water birds, prehistoric looking lizards of all shapes and sizes, the grand and highly endangered cassowaries and cute and cuddly koalas. See exciting and educational wildlife presentations including a snake show featuring some of the world's most venomous snakes, cassowary and koala feeding. The Gondwana Gateway takes you on an intriguing journey through the evolution of Australia's unique animals and the continent they originated from 200 million years ago where dinosaurs once roamed.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm-weather clothing. Bring a light, waterproof jacket, a hat, insect repellent and bottled water, and cash or credit card for souvenirs or optional activates.Tour itinerary may not allow for the viewing of all shows.
