Transfer to the Gold Coast Beaches

The Gold Coast, approximately 48 miles from Brisbane, is home to some of Australia's most famous beach resorts, and your transfer today will take you to the most famous of them all-Surfers Paradise.

The perfect swimming beach here is a hive of activity for sun-worshippers and fun-seekers.

During the 90-minute journey, your driver will explain the history, culture and lifestyle of Queensland. (S)he will point out the landmarks along the way. The beach is bordered by luxury resorts, high-rise buildings and high-end shopping destinations.

On arrival at Surfers Paradise, you will have approximately 3½ - 4 hours of time on your own to stroll through the heart of the shopping and restaurant precincts or relax on the beach.

Take some time to enjoy a dip in the sea or soak up the sun before looking for a hotel or restaurant in the shopping area that will be open for you to enjoy lunch (at your own expense).

At the end of this relaxing day you will re-board the coach for the transfer back to the ship in Brisbane.
