Discover its many charms during this energetic guided walking tour. Stroll time-worn streets past charming dwellings that date back to the Middle Ages while your guide shares Locronan history. Your walk includes a visit to the Church of Saint Ronan, dedicated to the Irish Christian missionary who came to the area in the 6th century. A 15th century masterpiece noted for its stone vaulting, the church's interior holds an intricate altar, numerous stained glass windows, carved reliefs and medieval religious statues of painted wood including one of Saint Ronan. Following the visit, you're free to explore on your own, shop or purchase treats such as the famous "kouing aman," a traditional Breton butter cake or a pint of Brittany cider.
