What you will visit:
Aquaspace Adventure
A semi-submarine sailing trimaran, the Aquaspace is a unique ocean vessel designed by Jacques Rougerie, a French naval architect. Jacques Cousteau used the Aquaspace to research and survey marine life via its amazing glass-bottom hull (or gondola) which offers ceiling-to-floor views of life beneath the ocean's surface.
Bonaire National Marine Park
As a result of diligent stewardship of its marine resources, which have been legally protected since 1979, Bonaire has been consistently ranked as the finest scuba diving and snorkeling destination in the Caribbean. This pristine, tropical paradise teems with colorful marine life, including myriad rainbow hued fish (such as tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish), turtles, rays and the healthiest corals in the region.
What you will see along the way:
From the comfort of the air-conditioned glass gondola, you'll encounter the most spectacular views of Bonaire's delicate fringing coral reefs. These life-giving reefs are inhabited by a dazzling array of colorful tropical fish (including tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish) that move gracefully among the currents. Look for elusive moray eels that hide out in crevices. Keep a keen eye out for special sightings of sea turtles, and rays. You also have the opportunity to go snorkeling and you'll be treated to a dazzling array of colorful tropical fish which move gracefully among the currents.
Snack:
On deck, soak up the Caribbean sun and enjoy a snack and beverage (including beer, wine and nonalcoholic drinks).
Special Notes:
Boat is equipped with a rest-room. Snorkeling equipment including snorkel vest are provided and must be worn. Participants must be able to navigate several steps into the glass-enclosed viewing area of the boat. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel and adequate sun protection. Marine life sightings, while common, are not guaranteed. Participants who go into the water must know how to swim, unguided snorkel trip.Child Price:
