Your excursion begins at the pier as you board the shuttle bus. After a 30 minute drive you will reach the Guggenheim Museum. The organic form gives a nod to Bilbao's heritage with its suggestion of maritime shapes, sails and fish scales.

Stroll past the 14th-century Gothic cathedral, a stop for pilgrims traveling to Santiago de Compostela, the Arriaga Theater, the Plaza Nueva and the Bilbao Ria, which separates the old and the new city. The new district is home to chic boutiques, perfume stores, cafes and restaurants. Walk back to the Guggenheim Museum where your awaiting transportation will take you back to the ship.
