Your family half-day tour begins when you board a comfortable motorcoach that will whisk you into the city, past some of the most interesting sights, including the 197-foot-tall Columbus Monument, commemorating Christopher Columbus's triumphant return from America. You'll head up to the Montjuic district, a wide, flat-topped hill that overlooks the city and was the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Summer Olympics. This stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies plus numerous events. Pause for a photo stop on top of the mountain so you can capture the incredible views across the city and harbor. Continue on to the impressive Barcelona Aquarium, which houses over 11,000 animals representing 450 species in its 35 tanks. This state-of-the-art marine center with hands-on displays entertains as it educates. It also contains a café and souvenir shop. Reboard your motorcoach for the brief ride back to port.
