Explore 400 years of history with a scenic tour through Bridgetown and visits to two of its most memorable landmarks. First on the itinerary is a tour of the George Washington House, where the 19-year-old future president lived for two months in 1751 with his ailing half-brother Lawrence. Inside, you'll find period furniture and a museum dedicated to the president. The adventure continues underground with an exploration of the legendary Garrison Tunnels, the longest subterranean tunnels found at any 18th or 19th century British Garrison. Bridgetown's military legacy continues with a visit to St. Ann's Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site noted for its outstanding glimpse into a pivotal period of British imperial rule and culture. After a stroll through the armory you'll have free time to look for that special souvenir in the gift shop.
