Enjoy a leisurely and educational two-hour cruise on the sparkling waters of Frenchman Bay aboard the Lulu, a U.S. Coast Guard certified lobster boat outfitted with modern safety, navigation and communication equipment. Once aboard you'll pass Egg Rock, home to a 180-year-old, 40-foot tall lighthouse. As you make your way around the bay's welcoming waters, you will be regaled with tales of history and folklore while the crew haul in lobster traps and shows how they're baited. Have your camera ready as your boat cruises past harbor seals sunning themselves on rocks while seabirds and the occasional bald eagle fly overhead and take in incredible views of Acadia National Park. Your boat also journeys past the four Porcupine Islands, which once served as a hiding place for French gunboats waiting to ambush British ships during the French and Indian War. Return to port after your informative seagoing adventure.
