A secret treasure of peace and tranquility, the Sanctuary of Truth is a museum in the making. Under construction since 1981, it's scheduled to be completed in 2025 due to the meticulous craftsmanship of workers using traditional Thai wooden carving skills. Resembling a temple in Ayutthaya, the intricate and ornate hand-carved wooden sculpture stands over 105 meters high (345 feet), making it the largest wood building in Thailand. An inside tour reveals thousands of wooden carvings that reflect art, culture and the nature of human life such as wood statues of Hindu and Buddhist gods and goddesses and wood carvings that reflect the worldview of wisdom. Your tour continues with a drive around Pattaya City, followed by a visit to Royal Garden Plaza, a vibrant complex with a wide variety of boutiques, restaurants and souvenir shops, or Central Phuket Festival, the consummate one-stop shopping, non-stop entertainment complex.
Special Notes:
Note: Since it is the intention of the owner of the Sanctuary of Truth to never stop adding or building more annex to the place, a hard hat (helmet) is required to be worn by each and every guest when visiting. The local currency is the Thai Baht and is required for most purchases.Details
