Description
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Your tour begins with a short drive to the Seavey family homestead. Get ready to experience Alaska's state sport, dog mushing, with 2013 Iditarod champion Mitch Seavey and his family.
You're sure to feel the power, excitement and energy as 15 sled dogs are harnessed to your comfortable wheeled sled. The thrill of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, also known as Alaska's Super Bowl, comes alive as you mush through two miles of wilderness and stop at the base of Resurrection Mountain and along Box Canyon Creek. Custom wheeled sleds are covered and equipped with comfortable padded seats and airbag suspension making this safe and comfortable for everyone.
After your ride, you're invited to tour the kennel facilities and cuddle adorable husky puppies. You're sure to laugh as a guest is dressed up as an Iditarod musher. Your guides offer a delightfully humorous, behind-the-scenes look at the Seavey family's training for the Iditarod.
