Journey into the rolling hills of the Northern Corridor mountain range and discover one of its best-kept secrets. Hidden away until 1994, the Waterfalls of Rio de Damajagua, known locally as 27 Charcos de Damajagua, offer one exciting adventure after another. From Amber Cove, you'll travel south past sugar cane fields to Damajagua National Park. After disembarking at the Visitor Center, you'll don a helmet and life jacket and meet your guide who'll escort you along the nature trail. Breathe in the fresh air as you hike past colorful flora and fauna to the top of a waterfall. Here, you can climb up limestone walls, slide down natural waterslides, swim through caverns and take a plunge into a turquoise lagoon. Then, you'll follow your guide to another waterfall where you can dip and cool off in the refreshing mountain water while surrounded by Mother Nature's beauty.
