Board your motorcoach and travel through Ålesund. Drive down the Kongensgata viewing the city's German Art Nouveau buildings with their elaborate stone turrets and spires. Continue along the Borgundfjord to the old trading district of Borgund. The Sunnmøre Open Air Museum features a collection of regional farmhouses as well as a collection of 40 vessels. The ships on display include a replica of the Kvalsund ship, a Viking longboat dating to the 8th century. Continue to Atlantic Ocean Park. Dedicated to the marine life of the North Atlantic, the park features massive seascape-style tanks set into the coastline. The largest aquarium holds over a million gallons of seawater. Visitors can observe divers feeding the largest Atlantic species behind an acrylic panel that is 92 feet long and 13 feet high.
