Animal lovers will enjoy this half-day excursion which starts with a scenic drive to the Falcon Hospital, through this breath-taking city. The first of its kind in the world, the hospital houses more than 5,000 birds. Falconry is a long-held Bedouin tradition, and your guided visit to will include a stroll around their falconry museum, where you will learn more about the traditional heritage of falconry. View displays of special tools and equipment, and learn more about falcon registration, and falcon passports. Visit the examination room where you will see the precious birds undergoing any number of procedures that might include a 'feather repair', or 'manicure and pedicure'. Finally, head over to the free-flight aviary to see where the falcons are safely housed before ending on a true highlight – the opportunity to have your picture taken with a majestic falcon sitting on your arm. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
