Your tour takes you past Aarhus Town Hall, Aarhus University, the Botanical Garden, the Concert Hall, and the ARoS Art Museum, one of the largest art museums in Europe. You'll enjoy a photo stop at the Aarhus Cathedra Aarhus Cathedral (Aarhus Domkirke), the longest and tallest church in Denmark, and one of the oldest redbrick buildings in Jutland. You will have some free time in the city center. Before returning to the pier, you'll make a stop at Den Gamle By open-air Museum, where you'll witness the recreation of a traditional Danish village featuring 75+ original historic structures collected from around Denmark.
Special Notes:
The Open Air Museum has approximately 400 yards of walking over inclined and cobblestoned streets.The walking portion of the tour is approximately 75 minutes. Tour is not suited for passengers with limited mobility or in wheelchairs.The cathedral is closed on Sundays and occasionally for religious observances. Photography is permitted inside the Cathedral when there are no services.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the day's conditions. Bring a hat and a sweater or light jacket.
Some tours may run in reverse order.
