See the highlights of Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark, on a guided city tour that introduces you to its most notable sites. Then stop at two key attractions on this engaging four-hour tour. From the pier, board a motorcoach and set off for a panoramic city tour. Stop to admire both the exterior and interior of the stately Aarhus Cathedral, the longest and tallest church in Denmark and one of the oldest red-brick buildings in Jutland. The interior boasts over 200 frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries - the most of any church in the land - as well as a spectacular 16th-century altar carved by the Lübeck master Bernt Notke. Then it's a visit to the Natural History Museum, an award-winning venue showcasing an impressive number of species of animals in dynamic displays, as well as a compelling exhibit on earth's living creatures and a journey back to the Ice Age.
