Commadore Nick Nash and Captain Gennaro Arma will both lead Star Princess. Captain Arma, who currently serves as the newbuild site lead for the construction of Star Princess, will be master of the 17th Princess ship when she debuts in fall 2025, bringing her into service from the shipyard. When Captain Arma is on leave, Commodore Nash will take over the navigation and leadership of the ship. A 34-year veteran of Princess Cruises, Commodore Nash has been at the helm of many Princess vessels during his career. When not at sea he resides in his hometown of Penzance, Cornwall. Captain Arma has been with Princess since 1998, having previously been the captain of Diamond Princess and Discovery Princess. He calls Sorrento, Italy home and is a recipient of the Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
