Crew Welfare and Repatriation

We thank everyone who continues to reach out with care and concern for our shipboard teammates. Our team is the heart of our company, and their health, safety, and well-being are our highest responsibility and top priority.

Now that we have paused guest operations, the entire company remains committed and focused in our efforts to return all our teammates safely home to their family and friends. However, due to international air travel and government restrictions, along with cruise ports that are essentially closed, our repatriation planning continues to be an extremely challenging and complex operation.

Over recent weeks, we have been successful in repatriating thousands of teammates aboard non-commercial aircraft, and we continue working to find ways to return our teammates to their home countries including by way of our ships.

We are also in continuous communication with those on board and we are providing them with any assistance they may need through our Crew Assistance Program.

A small complement of crew will remain on each ship to maintain essential operations during our operational pause. Compensation information during this time has been communicated directly to crew.

We greatly appreciate all our shipboard teammates and look forward to brighter days ahead when we all return to smoother seas.
